Recently, the two national standards of "LNG Automotive Technical Conditions" and "LNG Special Equipment Technical Conditions", which were led by Shaanxi Automobile, held the first social demonstration meeting at the Tianjin China Automotive Technology and Research Center. The main participants of the Institute's standard project participated in the demonstration meeting and made a live report. China Automotive Technology Research Center, CIMC Shengdain and Joint Heavy Truck participated in the demonstration.
At the meeting, the Institute of Standardization of the Institute made a detailed report on the background, preparation progress, draft status of the two LNG standards, and the development plan of the later LNG vehicles. In view of whether LNG commercial vehicles can increase the axle load and size more appropriately than diesel vehicles to meet the economic needs of LNG commercial vehicles, vehicle cylinders, dual-fuel engines, gas leak alarms, etc., the participants discussed in depth The results of the discussion provided a more sufficient basis for the development of the two standards in terms of technological advancement, economic rationality, broad applicability and feasibility.
The formulation of the LNG standard broke the previous situation of only participating in discussions and passively implementing standards. As a leader in the LNG commercial vehicle industry, Shaanxi Automobile hopes to regulate the domestic LNG commercial vehicle manufacturing technology, thereby guiding the development of the LNG commercial vehicle market, and the excellent fuel characteristics and good economy of the new energy technology. The advantages of small pollutant emissions are promoted and implemented, making it the most ideal alternative energy source for vehicles. On the other hand, due to the lack of corresponding standard specifications for LNG commercial vehicles in China, various modification plants are also freely modified to give safety belts for vehicles. There are certain hidden dangers, and the two standards that our company has led to fill this gap.
The two national standards development projects of "Technical Conditions for LNG Commercial Vehicles" and "Technical Conditions for Special Equipment for LNG" are good opportunities for cooperation with China Automotive Center in 2014 under the continuous research and efforts of the Standardization Institute of Shaanxi Automobile Research Institute. At present, the two LNG national standards have been submitted to the National Standards Committee for submission to the SAPC, and it is expected that the project will be approved by the state in the first half of this year. At that time, Shaanxi Automobile Standardization Institute and Special Research Institute will put more energy into the research work of standard formulation and strive to build LNG commercial vehicle quality standards.
