On June 6, the foundation of the 100,000 tons coal-based activated carbon project of the same coal group was started. This is another coal chemical project started by the same coal group after the project of an annual production of 600,000 tons of olefins. The total investment of the project is 1.17 billion yuan. It is designed to produce 100,000 tons of coal-based activated carbon annually, including an annual output of 50,000 tons of briquette broken activated carbon, an annual output of 40,000 tons of desulfurization and denitrification activated carbon, and an annual output of 10,000 tons of raw coal broken activated carbon. The project adopts the leading domestic gas activation technology and aims at the production of high-end products such as briquette crushing charcoal, desulfurization and denitrification carbon, etc. It will fill the gap in our country's activated carbon products.
