(1) Avoid operating the valve at a small opening. If the valve is selected too large, work under a small opening, small throttling clearance, erosion is serious, the appropriate choice to adjust the diameter of the plug valve, the work opening increases, so that a large throttle gap, flushing weakened, can increase the service life.
(2) Harden the surface of valve cores, valve seats, valve stems, etc. in the easily-eroded areas or use cemented carbide.
(3) A step-down, high-pressure differential valve is used.
(4) Take the method of transferring the erosion position.
(5) Adopt methods to avoid cavitation cavitation.
