Japanese construction machinery sales decline

According to the statistics of the Japan Construction Machinery Association, sales of Japanese construction machinery in October this year were 83.1 billion yen (about 124 yen and 1 US dollar), which was 6.3% lower than the same period of last year and fell for the 13th consecutive month. The main products and the magnitude of sales decline in construction machinery were: cranes (22.9%), road machinery (12.4%), cement grouting machinery (36%), and tunnel excavation machinery (25.7%). In order to get rid of the dilemma, manufacturers have begun to develop overseas markets. At present, exports to North America and Central and South America have increased slightly.
