The head of AVEVA said that the company has integrated the AVEVA Marine 12 series by acquiring Tribon, a well-known software developer in the industry, and integrating data management technologies from Tribon software and AVEVA software. This new 3D design software, combined with its product lifecycle management software, AVEVA PLM, enables companies to tailor the entire solution for ship design, shipbuilding and maintenance. The Pacific Heavy Industries purchased a series of design and engineering solutions worth $3 million, including AVEVA Marine 12 and AVEVA NET software.
