Chevron Tianjin expansion project manager Yang Jianjun stated that in order to meet the growing demand of China's lubricants market, the company spent US$20 million to start construction of the Tianjin plant expansion project in December 2010.
“The expansion project selected electricity and heat as the energy supply, and integrated clean and efficient environmental protection concepts into production.†According to Yang Jianjun, the expansion plant uses advanced production technology to avoid no-load operation; the building main body enclosure adopts thermal insulation. Thermal insulation design, make full use of natural light sources; reasonably select distribution system layout, and strengthen energy conservation management.
