On the morning of October 7th, Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group's annual output of 1.8 million tons of gasoline refinement equipment desulfurization reactor was successfully hoisted once. The reactor is currently the largest reactor in the world using S-Zorb catalytic desulfurization technology. The total length of the equipment is 47 meters and the total weight is 245 tons.
To ensure that the lifting work can be carried out smoothly as planned, Shen Hao, chairman of Yan'an Oil Company, personally visited the site, and the construction company Shaanxi Chemical Construction Company attached great importance to it and gathered all related personnel at the site to hold the lifting and safety technical measures. The staff division rules, and detailed demonstration of the lifting technology program; equipped with experienced crane workers, carefully inspect hoisting equipment and machinery, from the perspective of safety to ensure that the hoisting is perfectly safe. At the same time, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted from aspects of technical solutions, hoisting equipment performance, personnel qualifications, and economy, and finally 650 tons of caterpillar cranes were selected as main cranes, and 400 tons of caterpillar cranes were used as auxiliary cranes. At 10:05 that same day, the desulfurization reactor was successfully hoisted with a 245-ton reactor that relied on the equipment inside the frame.
It is reported that S-Zorb is a process technology developed by ConocoPhillips to produce low-cost clean fuel oil (sulfur-free gasoline), which is internationally known as a viable new process technology. After the device is completed and put into production, the sulfur content of gasoline produced can eventually reach the national V standard, and its output can fully meet the market supply of environmental gasoline in the surrounding areas.
