According to the National Development and Reform Commission Price Monitoring Center for monitoring of 36 large and medium-sized cities across the country, the national automobile market prices remained stable overall in September, and domestic and imported car prices rose slightly.
First, domestic car prices are rising steadily
In September, the price of domestically produced vehicles rose by 0.57% from the previous month, and the price rose by 1.27% compared with the same period of last year. The price trend of passenger cars and commercial vehicles was different.
Passenger car prices continued to decline, down 0.10% from the previous month and up 1.75% from the same period last year. Among them, the price of basic and sports passenger cars decreased by 0.08% and 0.07% respectively, up by 1.03% and 3.44% respectively over the same period of last year; the price of minibuses was unchanged from the previous month and 2.26% lower than the same period last year.
The price of commercial vehicles rose from a downward trend, rising by 1.41% from the previous month and up 0.70% from the same period last year. Among them, the price of commercial buses increased by 2.49% from the previous month and increased by 0.45% compared with the same period of last year. Among the segmented models, the price of large passenger cars increased by 3.33% from the previous month and 0.77% from the same period of last year. The price of light buses was unchanged from the previous month, down 0.51% from the same period of last year. The price of commercial trucks fell slightly by 0.06% from the previous month, down 1.08% from the same period last year. Among the subdivided models, the price of light trucks decreased by 0.14%, up 2.80% over the same period of last year; the price of medium trucks increased by 0.06%, which was the same as the previous period; the price of large trucks decreased by 0.15%, up by 1.31% over the same period of last year.
Second, the price of imported cars continues to decline
Imported car prices continued to decline in September, down 0.08% from the previous month and down 2.90% from the same period last year. Among them, the price of imported off-road vehicles decreased by 0.21%, down by 2.79% compared with the same period of last year; the price of imported cars increased by 0.05% from the previous month and decreased by 3.02% compared with the same period of last year.
