[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” National Science and Technology Support Program “Smart Monitoring and Diagnostic Evaluation Technology for Large-span Continuous Beam Bridges” passed the acceptance inspection.


The project adopts a time-division/wavelength-division hybrid multiplexing method and adopts an ultra-low reflectivity low-loss fiber grating array to realize the multiplex of more than 2000 FBG sensing points on a single fiber; and the Maximally flat type programmable FIR digital low-pass. Filter, directly on the microcontroller of the acquisition circuit, developed a low-power bridge wireless vibration, dynamic strain and dynamic deflection sensor with a cutoff frequency of 0-400Hz; and for the first time, a quasi-distributed fiber grating was used on the long-span continuous beam bridge. The sensor network (single fiber multiplexed over 2600 sensing points) enables real-time monitoring of concrete strain, temperature and cracks.

The project proposes a vehicle load identification technology based on the opportunity distributed strain monitoring and influence line theory, and constructs a regression model based on nonlinear SVM for multi-environmental factors-structured service performance parameters, and realizes the “normalized multi-source environmental conditions” of the bridge. On-line monitoring of service performance; an early structure damage identification technique based on phase space chaotic attractors was proposed, and an early warning and safety assessment technique for long-span continuous bridge structural disease was formed.

The research results of the project have been applied successfully in Xiasha Bridge and other projects in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and are of great significance to the safety monitoring and evaluation of long-span continuous girder bridges in China.
