O -ring pressure and seal gap
The O -shaped rubber seal is generally sealed by the springback caused by compression, but as the pressure increases, it is squeezed into the sealed turbid gap and changes shape, as shown in Figure 4-1
In order to make the O -shaped rubber seal ring have a good sealing effect and prolong service life, the gap between the installation groove and the seal part of the O -shaped rubber seal ring must be designed properly. When the clearance is too large, the O -shaped rubber seal ring is under oil pressure. Under the effect of squeeze space, causing damage, resulting in leakage. When the working pressure is less than 9.8Mpa , the retaining ring is generally not designed . When the pressure is greater than 9.8Mpa , the pressure surface of the O -shaped rubber seal ring is easily squeezed out, and the retaining ring should be added ; if the pressure is unidirectional, a block is set on the pressure bearing surface. Circle, if two-way compression, it is necessary to set two retaining rings, as shown in Figure 4-2
