Eaton announced on March 29, 2010 that it will invest in a new engine valve manufacturing plant in Jining, Shandong Province to meet the strong growth needs of the Chinese automotive market.
The new factory will occupy an area of ​​about 10,000 square meters and it will be built in July 2010 and completed in 2011. At that time, the plant will assemble engine valves and valve actuation mechanisms for Chinese automakers.

The new plant is located adjacent to Eaton Hydraulic Systems (Jining) Co., Ltd. Eaton has a long history of investment in Jining. The first manufacturing company in China is the hydraulic factory in Jining, which mainly produces steering control equipment and hydrocycloid motors. It has now become Eaton’s largest hydraulic product production base in the Asia-Pacific region.
